Why does Pepipoo insist on advising people on how to evade paying PCN fines, even if the people getting the PCN admits they were in the wrong!!!! As a C.E.O. this makes me mad!!! If they've been caught bang to rights let them pay up, dont advise them on how they wriggle out of it on a technicality!!!! Grrrrrrrrr!!!

Re: Pepipoo

You will probably find that some people on there giving this sort of advice are in fact your very own CEO colleaguesPePiPoo do not condone breaking the law. We simply believe that motorists have the right to be treated fairly, in accordance with normal legal principles and with respect for their rights, and that allegations of motoring offences, such as speeding, should not be treated simply as an administrative issue leading efficiently and inevitably to a conviction.

I used to issue PCNs when I was 100% certain the ticket couldn't be cancelled on a technicality. The ones I disagree with, are the ones on supermarket car parks which dress themselves up as a PCN when they're nothing more than an aggressive invoice from the parking company administering the parking scheme. These car parks aren't subject to the same strict TROs that council run P&D car parks are.
